Aaliyah Dana Haaughton gained notoriety after she released her first album Age Ain't Nothing but A Number in the year 1994. The singer was barely 15 when the album became Gold. The group was strongly in the style of R. Kelly, and put the singer onto the scene. In 1996, she teamed up with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland for her album, One In A Million, featuring the number one hit track If Your Girl Only Knew. Aaliyah received international recognition for her R&B songs through the album. In 2000, she was as a character in Romeo Must Die, a action/romance film starring Jet-Li. She got this role after being spotted by film producer Joel Silver at an awards event. She was cast in the Anne Rice-based vampire film Queen of the Damned, which premiered in 2002. The Matrix Sequels was her first role in The Matrix Sequels. She was also as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). She received four nominations for the Grammy Awards, including 1999, 2001 and 2002. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Born in Connecticut to the family of Indian origin. Mann is the abbreviation used for her first name in marriage, Mankad. However, she uses both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for professional names. Her acting career began in mid-2000's with minor parts in movies and TV. Alongside The Big Bang Theory, her other notable works include Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) The actress has been featured in a variety of commercials including Volvo's international car producer. The actress lives in Los Angeles with her husband as well as her daughter, and will continue to pursue an acting career.
